Ngakia: “We Are Ready For Anything”

Ngakia: “We Are Ready For Anything”.

Jeremy Ngakia was pleased with his Watford performance against QPR, which marked his 100th league appearance for the club.

The defender was outstanding in the 2-1 victory, which was sealed by two Luca Kjerrumgaard goals before halftime. “I didn’t know, to be honest!”

The right-back told watfordfc.com about the milestone. “I was focused on the game and getting the win for the team.” Paulo Pezzolano’s side started the game in a new 3-5-2 formation, with the 24-year-old starting at right-back.

Ngakia stated that the game plan was well executed, despite late pressure from the visitors.

“I thought it went well,” he explained. “There were times when we needed to defend as a team and remain strong, and I believe we passed the test.

“When we conceded, it was surprising because we were leading, but we stayed in the game and won, so I’m pleased. “We worked on the formation throughout the week.

As a team, I believe we adapted well and are prepared for anything.

Ngakia was especially pleased for his teammate, Kjerrumgaard, who scored his first goals for Watford.

“I’m happy for him because he has worked hard and had some frustrating times already and been unlucky,” he told me.

“But today, he got two, which was fantastic for us. I hope he moves on from this.”
