North Charleston Police chase ends in crash, suspect still at large.

North Charleston, South Carolina (WCSC) – The North Charleston Police Department reported that all lanes on I-26 had been cleared following a pursuit and crash on Thursday afternoon.

I-26 east was reduced to one lane at the Mount Pleasant and Savannah exits onto I-526, 212 B and C, for several hours before reopening.

Law enforcement and EMS are on the scene.

According to police spokesman Harve Jacobs, the suspect involved in the chase fled and officers are currently searching for them.
