North Norfolk named one of UK’s top winter staycation spots.

North Norfolk has been designated one of the best spots for a winter vacation.

The Telegraph recently published an article listing 10 UK sites that are “just as magical to visit in winter, especially when the crowds have gone”.

North Norfolk was one of the locations highlighted. “Visit north Norfolk in winter and you’ll hit the jackpot,” the report said.

“And we don’t mean amusement arcades (although you may do that in Hunstanton and Cromer).”No, you’ll avoid summer’s crowds, but arguably still see it at its best.”

It recommended taking a stroll along the “long, golden beaches” while they are deserted, looking for seal pups and unusual migrating birds.

The Telegraph suggested taking the Coasthopper bus to several sites and grabbing a boat to Blakeney Point, which is home to England’s largest seal colony.

Cornwall, Pembrokeshire, the Lake District, and the Isle of Skye were all mentioned.
