Nottingham Forest could make a ‘dramatic’ change after Sean Dyche appointment.
After Ange Postecoglou was fired, Nottingham Forest appointed Sean Dyche as their third manager of the season.
After Forest’s 3-0 loss to Chelsea on October 18, Postecoglou was fired, and the team had to act fast to find a replacement.
On October 21, Dyche was selected to take over for the Australian manager in an effort to help Forest escape the Premier League relegation zone.
Forest won 2-0 over Porto in the Europa League on October 23, Dyche’s first game in charge, but lost 2-0 to Bournemouth on October 26.
Nottingham Forest should reach Europa League quarter-finals
Former Manchester City financial consultant Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider that Dyche’s top priority will be Premier League survival, but he believes Forest should aim for the Europa League quarterfinals.
Forest is presently 17th in the Europa League’s league phase, having collected four points from their first three games.
Borson spoke exclusively to Football Insider on Forest’s priorities, saying: “Well, I think it must be Premier League survival as well as the Europa League.
Clearly, if you can get yourself somehow to win that competition, then of course you’ve got a Champions League place, so I think there’s still plenty to play for for Nottingham Forest.
“The league is still very tight. It wouldn’t take many games to move Forest dramatically up the table. They’re obviously going to be concerned about relegation when you have a start like they’ve had.”

Forest are now 18th in the Premier League table, three points below fourth-bottom Fulham after nine games.
Nottingham Forest’s January transfer plan revealed
Dyche, who left Everton earlier this year, has signed a contract at the City Ground that runs until 2027.
It is understood that the 54-year-old will have to work with the players he presently has on his roster after the club spent more than £200 million on summer signings.
Forest will play Manchester United at the City Ground on Saturday (1 November).
