Oliver Glasner speaks to Austrian media – Now sounds optimistic on Crystal Palace transfers and squad

Oliver Glasner, the manager of Crystal Palace, has stated that his team is more ready for the upcoming season and seems more optimistic about his team and transfers than he did a week ago.

This week, the manager of Crystal Palace will be interviewed exclusively by Sky Austria, with an emphasis on his team’s preparation for the upcoming campaign.

Due to their FA Cup victory earlier this year, the Eagles will be starting their season against Liverpool in the Community Shield competition.

This implies that they will have less time to prepare this summer than they would like, even if they have a difficult start to the season against the club that most people think will win the championship again.

Crystal Palace will be looking for a better start to the season than they had the previous one, when they started the Premier League with eight straight losses before defeating Tottenham 1-0 on October 27.

Before moving up the rankings and finishing 11th and winning the FA Cup, they lost five of those games and were in 18th place in the standings. By the end of game week 12, they had dropped to 19th place after drawing with Aston Villa.

Glasner is certain that Crystal Palace won’t experience that again this season, displaying greater hope than he did at the conclusion of the previous month when he was adamant that they hadn’t done enough in the transfer market.

He said, “Of course, I’m very confident on the other hand.”

Unfortunately, there are still over four weeks left in the transfer window. Thus, anything can occur at any moment.

Glasner drops Crystal Palace future hint after FA Cup final win

Although there has been a lot of talk about a few players, the players have been completely focused up to this point. They are managing it incredibly well, are fully committed, and are giving it their all during training. As you can see, they completely agree with the team and our philosophy of football, which is why we’re feeling quite positive coming in.

Naturally, we’re off to a difficult start against Liverpool, who have also spent some money, in the Community Shield. After that, we’ll play Chelsea, the Club World Champions, in the Premier League. They have also made another investment of a few euros.

“So, yes, it’s off to a great start. It’s challenging, but we’re excited about it.” We just feel more ready than we were the year before. Playing against the champions as the current FA Cup winners in front of a sold-out crowd at Wembley is undoubtedly an amazing experience, but our preseason was also a week shorter than anticipated because of the Community Shield.

“We’re really looking forward to it because there are worse season openers than this one.”
