Despite Wolves‘ terrible start this season, manager Vitor Pereira is close to signing a new contract.

The Portuguese’s contract expires at the end of the season, and an agreement is expected before this weekend. It demonstrates the club’s faith in Pereira, who succeeded Gary O’Neil in December.
