Police action at Coventry churchyard hit by trouble-making yobs.
Patrols have been increased around the St Michaels churchyard. Police said action was being taken in a Coventry churchyard affected by yob behaviour.
Anti-social behaviour continues to be reported in the vicinity of St Michael’s Churchyard.
Last month, CoventryLive reported that Rev Canon Claire McArthur of the church was ‘deeply saddened’ that the location had become a magnet for ‘drug-related activity’ and anti-social behaviour. Stokeand Wyken police officers said they had increased patrols in the area.
The team reported that their work had resulted in ‘firm words’ of advice being given to some. They said they had also been attempting to assist rough sleepers in the area.
