Police called to Dundee school amid reports of person with ‘weapon’.
An alleged incident occurred at St John’s RC High School on Tuesday afternoon.
Police were called to a Dundee secondary school after receiving allegations of a person with a firearm in the area. On Tuesday, officers arrived at St John’s RC High School around 2.35pm.
It is believed that there was action at a school gate near Strathmore Avenue following reports of an earlier incident at the Glenaffric Terrace entry.
Police Scotland said officers attended the scene, but no firearm was located, some 23 hours after The Courier requested a comment.
A spokesperson for the police stated: “Around 2.35pm on Tuesday, officers received a complaint of a person with what appeared to be a weapon in the Glenaffric Terrace area of Dundee.
