Police crackdown on Honeypot Lane sees 21 drivers reported.
On Saturday, September 20, neighbourhood policing teams conducted a traffic operation along Honeypot Lane in Harrow.
The Edgware and Kenton East Safer Neighbourhood Teams were assisted by specialists from the Alperton traffic garage. It prompted comments from local people who were concerned about excessive speed and careless driving in the neighbourhood.

During the operation, 21 drivers were recorded for speeding violations. Police also seized one vehicle for not having insurance, and the driver was charged, as well as for driving without due care. Dave Jones, the policeman in charge of the operation, stated:
“This has been a very successful morning, traffic matters are often reported by residents who are frustrated at their area being used in an unsafe manner, putting uniformed officers in the area reduces these types of offences and deters criminals from using our streets.”
