Police investigate gunshots fired overnight.

Gunshots were fired at a Sheffield home and vehicle, prompting an investigation by police.

Officers on patrol in Burngreave were notified of the incident on Wensley Street by members of the public around 23:20 BST on Monday.

Armed police were dispatched to the address and, after searching the surrounding area and locating the vehicle, confirmed that both sites had been damaged by gunfire.

South Yorkshire Police said there had been no reports of injuries.
