Popular Aberdeen family-run pizzeria hits the market after nearly 50 years in business.
Linda and Leo Godini founded Poldino’s in 1977, and their son Lee later took over operations.
Poldino’s Ristorante, located on Little Belmont Street, has been a successful family-run restaurant in Aberdeen for 48 years, delivering delicious Italian cuisine to Granite City residents.
Its owners have now opted to sell the 90-seat restaurant for sale through Christie & Co, with bids exceeding £500,000.
The agent describes the pizza as having a “stellar reputation” in a prime city centre location.
The restaurant includes a fully equipped commercial kitchen and the option for new owners to create a takeaway menu, as well as seating on two floors.
The bottom floor seats 70 diners, while the first floor seats 20; both have classic design and soothing lighting.
Poldino’s, which has an amazing 4.6 Google rating, is now open on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and the restaurant is being sold with all fixtures and fittings included.
Customers have praised the city centre restaurant on Facebook and TripAdvisor, describing it as a “hidden gem.” One customer commented, “Authentic Italian restaurant. The food was amazing, and the service was excellent.
