Rescue services were dispatched when a motor cruiser encountered difficulties on the Broads.

The two persons on board were brought ashore, and the yacht was dragged off the bank into deeper waters, allowing the rescue crew to transport it to a nearby harbour.

A spokesman for Hemsby Broads Rescue said: “We applaud everyone involved for a well-executed collaborative effort.

“There’s a special thanks to the crew members who attended the station to assist with post-rescue administration” .
