National Lottery players are being warned to double-check their tickets, as one lucky Hartlepool resident has yet to claim their £1 million prize.
One lucky Hartlepool lottery player might become a millionaire after The National Lottery revealed that one player had yet to collect their £1 million reward.
The EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker draw took place on Friday, March 13, and the winning ticket had the code JLZG97793.
The ticket holder has until September 9 to claim their reward, and anyone who does not have a ticket but believes they have a valid claim can still file a written claim to Allwyn within 30 days of the draw.
Andy Carter, senior winners advisor at Allwyn, the operator of The National Lottery, stated, “Did you play our special EuroMillions Friday 13 March draw?” You may be unknowingly holding a life-changing wealth.
We want to make the number 13 a happy day for everyone, so please double-check your tickets, including bags, coats, purses, and wallets. Remember that drawing from a few weeks ago?
“Is the ticket tucked under a winter coat you’ve put away now that spring has arrived? Someone who purchased a ticket in Hartlepool is now a millionaire, and it is our responsibility to help them receive their rewards.”
If no one comes forward with the winning ticket by the prize claim deadline, the prize money and interest will be used to support National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
