Sheffield pedestrian taken to hopsital after one-vehicle crash on Main Road, Darnall.

This is the scene on a major road in a Sheffield area this afternoon, after emergency personnel were dispatched to an incident.

The crash occurred on Main Road in Sheffield’s Darnall neighbourhood earlier this afternoon (Wednesday, February 25, 2026).

A representative for Yorkshire Ambulance Service confirmed moments ago that a pedestrian was hurt in the collision.

They stated: “We received an emergency call at 1.45pm on Wednesday afternoon to report a collision involving a car and a person on Main Road in Darnall.

“An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and one patient was conveyed to Northern General Hospital.”

When The Star recently visited the scene of the incident, emergency services were still present.

The police barrier has already been decreased in size, and the road is anticipated to reopen soon.
