Six arrests across Luton after drugs and weapons raids.

Six men were arrested in Luton following a series of raids by Bedfordshire Police’s firearms and gangs branch.

The guys were apprehended by the force’s Boson squads at several locations in town, all of whom are suspected of having links to guns and drug offences.

They were arrested on suspicion of possession of weapons and firearms, possession with intent to provide Class A and Class B substances, violent disorder, and hazardous driving. Two blades, six knuckle dusters, suspected class B narcotics, and an automobile were confiscated.

A guy was charged last week in connection with the town’s August 17 shooting.

Bedfordshire Police’s Force Intelligence Bureau, led by Detective Inspector Katy Watts, emphasised their commitment to combating severe violence and organised crime in their communities.

The arrests and seizures undertaken by Boson are the direct outcome of intelligence-led policing and our officers’ dedication to keeping Bedfordshire secure.

“We will not allow firearms, drugs, or violent behaviour on our streets, and we will continue to take strong action against anyone who endanger public safety.

“Everything we do revolves around ensuring our communities’ safety and well-being. We want locals to be confident that we are taking steps to remove criminals from our streets.
