Suspect charged with murder following discovery of man’s body at house in Hartlepool’s Allerton Close.
A 22-year-old suspect has been charged with murder after the discovery of a man’s body inside a house.
On Sunday, November 23, just before 11 a.m., the dead man was discovered inside a residence in Allerton Close, off Milbank Road, Hartlepool. His name has yet to be publicly confirmed.
Two guys, ages 22 and 23, were arrested on suspicion of murder. Cleveland Police have stated that the 22-year-old suspect, thought to be from Hartlepool, has been charged with murder and is scheduled to appear at Teesside Magistrates‘ Court in Middlesbrough later today.
The 23-year-old suspect has been released on conditional bail while police investigate. Officers remained in Allerton Close on Tuesday.
Cleveland Police said in a statement on Tuesday: “A 22-year-old man has been charged with murder following an incident at an address on Allerton Close in Hartlepool on Sunday, November 23rd.”
“Paramedics and police attended the address shortly before 11am and a 22-year-old man was sadly found deceased inside of the property.
“Our thoughts are with the deceased man’s friends and family during this difficult time. “The 22-year-old man was remanded in custody to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court today.
