CoventryLive provides news about Coventry City as Sky Blues correspondent Andy Turner offers you a round-up from within and outside the club.

It’s an exciting moment to be a Coventry City supporter after a 12-game unbeaten start to the new Championship season, with six wins in a row leading into Friday night’s match at Wrexham.

Meanwhile, the Red Dragons, who are 16th in the table, face a significant Carabao Cup fixture against Welsh rivals Cardiff City at the Racecourse Ground on Tuesday night – a game that may send them to the competition’s quarter-finals.
Phil Parkinson’s side includes four former Sky Blues:

centre-backs Dom Hyam and Callum Doyle, the latter of whom will serve the third of a three-match punishment following a red card on Friday, and midfielders Matty James and Ben Sheaf.

Former captain Sheaf, meantime, was injured and missed the weekend’s remarkable 1-1 draw at Middlesbrough as well as the previous encounter, and he is doubtful for the midweek fixture against Cardiff.
