Swansea City player ratings as midfielder impresses once more and striker makes his mark.

Here’s how the players rated in Swansea’s draw with Watford.

Swansea City left it late to earn a point against Watford at the Swansea.com Stadium.

Zan Vipotnik’s late goal off the bench was enough to split the points against the Hornets, who took the lead on Nestory Irankunda’s first-half free kick.

Here is how the players were rated at the Swansea.com Stadium. He made some excellent saves either side of halftime to keep Watford at bay when they were under pressure. Made a few good tackles but offered little going forward. Subbed.

Ben Cabango (c) 7

Made an outstanding goal-line clearance in the first half. Overall, the performance was fairly consistent.

Cameron Burgess 7

One-on-one, he appeared to be vulnerable with the ball on the deck, but he had a tremendous aerial presence. I got into the game pretty well.

Josh Tymon 7

Another solid performance from the left. Linked well with Galbraith and others.

Goncalo Franco 7

Plenty of steel in the centre. No player had more tackles. Put in a couple of really good blocks.

Ethan Galbraith 7 – STAR MAN

Threaded some really good balls in behind the defence and worked well with Tymon. I got an assist late on.

Ronald 6

In the second half, a great opportunity was passed up. I worked extremely hard but couldn’t quite find an end product.

Malick Yalcouye 6

Had some good ideas and made some decent runs, but struggled against Watford’s physical midfield. Subbed.

Jisung Eom 6

Essentially, the same as above. I sometimes ended up in too many dead ends. Nonetheless, some of the deliveries were quite good. Subbed

Liam Cullen 6

Denied by the hourly post. Typically tenacious, but he could have timed some of his runs more accurately. Subbed.

Zeidane Inoussa (on for EOM 53) The scene on the left appeared to be lively. A decent showing – 7 Marko Stamenic (on for Yalcouye 53) settled after an early yellow.

 

A reasonably accomplished debut—7 Melker Widell (On for Key 75) Didn’t do anything wrong, but a fairly quiet performance – 6.

Zan Vipotnik (on for Cullen 75) scored the equaliser. Perhaps another truth should have been told. (7)
