The Bok Shop opens new restaurant in Piries Place, Horsham.

A famous fried chicken business has launched a second location.

The Bok Shop, which was started in Brighton in 2017, opened a new restaurant on December 1 in Piries Place, Horsham.

The restaurant draws inspiration from London-style fried chicken culture while also combining Asian and American influences.

It has received numerous honours, including the judge’s choice Best Wild Wing and the people’s choice Best Buffalo Wing at Wingfest 2021, the world’s largest chicken wing competition.

Menu offerings include chicken wings, tenders, burgers, and wraps, as well as sides and desserts.

The Bok Shop claims to use only fresh, handcrafted ingredients, and all of its chicken comes from local farmers. The menu was created in partnership with published chef Adam O’Shepherd.

The menu options are popular online, with reviews describing the chicken as “out of this world” and “exceptionally succulent”.

The new Horsham location has over 40 chairs available, including indoor and outdoor locations.

It will be open Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., closing an hour later on Fridays and Saturdays.
