The top-rated roast supper in Norwich has been revealed.
Tripadvisor, a travel firm that compiles customer opinions to create a list of the finest places to visit around the world, has listed the best Sunday roasts in Norwich.
The Black Horse on Earlham Road has taken first position, with a 4.3 out of 5 rating from over 550 reviews.
The pub has received 4.5 stars from 1,500 Google reviews. The Sunday menu offers “all the meats” for £26, which includes pig belly, beef, and chicken with all of the trimmings.
Vegetarians can also enjoy a mushroom and Stilton pie, a courgette, leek, and pepper polenta loaf, and a free dog roast for their canine companions.

It was built in 1714 and has been known as The Black Horse since it first opened.
The large beer garden was once utilised as a bowling green during the Victorian and Edwardian eras and is now adorned with festoon lighting creating a more ambient atmosphere.
Rose Hanison, the bar’s owner and operator, completed a substantial restoration in late 2015, and the pub has since won multiple honours, including being awarded the greatest in the UK and Ireland by famed British comedy act Dick and Dom.
One recent Tripadvisor customer wrote, “The Sunday roasts are absolutely to die for and always strike the spot! “A fantastic pub with a lovely atmosphere and absolutely delicious food.” All of the staff are very courteous and eager to assist with any enquiries.”
Another said, “We had a thoroughly delicious late Sunday roast – can’t recommend it enough.”
