The Wolves player who recorded a top speed even faster than Erling Haaland in Man City loss

Although Wolves’ match versus Man City was a difficult day at work, there are a few things to be grateful for despite the crushing defeat.

In their first match of the new season, Wolves lost to Man City, who easily defeated Vitor Pereira’s team 4-0.

As per his customary performance, Erling Haaland scored twice to give his total against Wolves ten goals, which is more than he has scored against any other Premier League team.

However, one Wolves player unexpectedly outpaced him in peak speed despite his stellar play throughout the weekend.

Against Man City, David Moller Wolfe sets a new Wolves record for top speed.

Throughout the game, Wolves made threats, primarily in the first half and during transitions. They made good use of the flanks to move the ball up the field, and David Moller Wolfe, a recent addition, demonstrated his ability to bomb on.

According to FootMob, he was the quickest Wolves player with a top speed of 33.2 km/h, surpassing Haaland’s 32.9 km/h.

His speed will be very helpful as he attempts to take over Rayan Ait-Nouri’s attacking role.

With Ait-Nouri closing down the right side of Wolves’ attack and recording a top speed even greater than Moller Wolfe, the Algerian’s first game back at Molineux served as a reminder of the skill Wolves have lost.

Wolves lost to Man City in pace.

Even though Moller Wolfe had a remarkable top speed, City was by far the most explosive of the two teams, covering more ground and countering with ease because to their rapid passing and quickness.

Pep Guardiola and his City players’ quick counterattacks and line breaks appeared to be too much for Wolves’ defense to handle.

This was best demonstrated by the second goal, where the ball went in the net seconds after Emmanuel Agbadou’s mistake was pounced upon.

Wolves’ lackluster defensive performance raised questions about the team’s players and might have encouraged supporters to search for a fresh addition to the back line.
