Trial begins of group accused of causing Dundee death plunge.
The trial is planned to run until mid-December.
A crew from Dundee is on trial for crimes such as causing a man to fall to his death, abduction, extortion, and drug peddling.
Stephen Stewart, 52, Jennifer Souter, 39, Victoria McGowan, 43, and Ramsay El Nakla, 37, are on trial at the High Court in Edinburgh.
All four are accused of intimidating Ryan Munro at a property in Morgan Street, Dundee, on January 9 and 10, last year, and extorting money from him through threats.
Stewart, Souter, and McGowan are also accused of murdering Mr Munro on January 10 at the Morgan Street flat by threatening and intimidating him, causing him to be terrified and concerned for his safety.
According to the indictment, they forced him to escape from a “at height” window, causing him to fall and hit the ground, injuring him severely enough to kill him.
The trio is also accused of abducting Mr Munro on January 9 and 10 last year at the Morgan Street flat, harassing and threatening him, and holding him against his will.
