On Friday afternoon, Charlton’s U21 team will return to action when they play QPR at Sparrows Lane (KO 1pm GMT).

The young Addicks enter the match fresh off a 4-2 victory against rivals Millwall in the middle of the week, with goals from Ibrahim Fullah, Keenan Gough, and Reuben Reid. In the meantime, QPR’s final Premier League Cup match on Friday night ended in a 2-2 tie with Cardiff City. Currently leading the Professional Development League 2-South standings, Charlton has played one fewer game than their south coast rivals but is tied with AFC Bournemouth on points.
