Wanted man and woman arrested in Edgware after reports of overnight drug use.
Officers in Edgware conducted targeted patrols in response to reports of antisocial behaviour (ASB) and drug usage around Burnt Oak Broadway and Vancouver Mansions.
Police stated the groups involved had been abusing class A drugs in the region, which has been a long-standing problem.
PCSO Razzaq from the ward team has been gathering information on the timings, locations, and individuals associated with the reports.
Proactive patrols were conducted with the assistance of Centenary and Kenton East cops, with officers beginning early to apprehend individuals guilty.
The patrols resulted in the arrest of two people who were already wanted by police: one man and one female.
PS Jones, the policing lead for all three wards, stated, “My team will continue to tackle the ASB that blights the lives of residents and visitors alike.”
The work is part of larger projects taking place in Barnet and Brent, where the three boroughs intersect on Burnt Oak Broadway.
