Watford and Bushey fare dodgers made to pay £10k by court.

Six Watford and Bushey fare dodgers have been compelled to pay more than £10,000 in fines for not having tickets.

Two of the offenders appeared before Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (October 9) for entering a required ticket area on the TfL regional railway network without a valid ticket.

Ihor Kvasinskyi, 39, of Herkomer Road in Bushey, avoided paying the price at Bushey Station on May 7 and was forced to pay £1,746 in fines, restitution, surcharges, and expenses. Veronika Hudina, 35, of Vicarage Road, was forced to pay £1,883 for an offence committed at Euston on April 4.

Despite concerns from neighbours, a new house will be built on the rear lawn. Wojciech Stelmach, 43, Catalin Muscalu, 35, Dedin Pepaj, 53, and Arturas Kancevicius, 49, all appeared in court on Monday (October 13) for the same offence.

Kancevicius of Highlands was ordered to pay £2,020 for an offence committed at Euston on May 6. Muscalu, of High Street, Bushey, was forced to pay £1,753 for an offence at Willesden Junction on May 6.

Stelmach, of Woodford Road, was forced to pay a total of £1,117 following an offence in Bushey on May 15.

Pepaj, of Water Lane, was fined £1,618.50 for an offence at Euston on May 22.
