Miguel Chaiwa has been signed at the perfect time in his career, and the club has vowed to help shape the 21-year-old Zambian into a “top midfielder” capable of progressing much farther in the sport.
Chaiwa, who joined from Swiss club Young Boys for an undisclosed fee at the beginning of the month, is vying for a regular spot in the heart of the field.
The full international, who hopes to add to his 11 caps in next week’s World Cup qualifier against Morocco in Ndola, made only his second Hibs appearance in Sunday’s 1-1 draw with St Mirren.
