£90k cannabis farm found in Dundee flat.
Police said there were 150 plants inside the Dens Road property.
Police discovered a £90,000 cannabis cultivation in a property on Dundee’s Dens Road. Officers were dispatched to a property at the intersection of North Isla Street early Tuesday morning last week.
Police said 150 plants were located inside the unit, but no arrests have been made so far. One passerby reported seeing police parked outside the flat many times last week as part of an investigation.
The Courier made several requests for information on the activities to Police Scotland over the last week, but a media statement was only given today.
‘Significant’ recovery of drugs on Dens Road
Investigations on the discovery are ongoing.
Detective Sergeant Dave Feeney stated, “This significant recovery demonstrates our commitment to disrupting drug-related crime in our communities.” “It also demonstrates our continued commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious and Organised Crime Strategy.”
“Information from the public is vital to our efforts, and I would encourage anyone concerned about drug-related activity to contact Police Scotland on 101.” Alternatively, you can complain anonymously to Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
