The QPR Development Squad maintained their 100 percent start to pre-season with a 2-0 victory over non-league Chelmsford City on Saturday.

Paul Furlong’s young R’s were defeated at Melbourne Stadium with goals in both halves. Rangers took a 14th-minute lead when Rohan Vaughan converted Lorent Talla’s cross.

Furlong’s visitors sealed the win in second-half stoppage time when a trialist struck from distance.

The Dev Squad returns to friendly action this Saturday, travelling to Winchester City. First half: Halliday, Friel, Balogun, Wilkie, Adjetey-Brew, Kennedy, Dyke, O’Brien, Talla, Petrie, and Vaughan.

Second half: Halliday, Cuthbert, McDowell, Leahy, Neill, Sanyaolu, Neziri, and Coomes, all trialists.
