Aberdeen and Luton apart on Morris valuation

Aberdeen and Luton apart on Morris valuation.

If Luton Town want to sign Aberdeen winger Shayden Morris, they will need to significantly increase their offer after missing out on two previous bids.

The latest offer from the English League One club is thought to be around £600,000. However, the clubs have differing opinions on the player, who is entering the final year of his contract at Pittodrie.

Morris joined Aberdeen from Fleetwood Town in the summer of 2022 and won the club’s player of the year award in May, despite frequently playing from the bench.

Last season, he scored five goals and assisted 13 times for Jimmy Thelin’s team. Four of those assists came in the Scottish Cup, and the Dons won the trophy for the first time since 1990. Morris appeared in all 38 Premier League games last season, but started only 11 of them.
