I know you don’t like to go into great detail on injuries but people are asking about Matty Godden and when he is going to be back? You don’t tend to give timelines but you’d obviously love to have him back in your ranks?

Jones: “Absolutely. We had to manage Matty. He played past the pain barrier last year, which we had to fix during the summer.

It was critical that we kept him until the end of last season; he was one of the greatest attackers in the league and our leading goalscorer.
