Boy, 15, in hospital after ‘man with knife’ seen in McDonald’s in Edgware.

A 15-year-old boy is in hospital following an alleged stabbing at a McDonald’s in Edgware.

Police were told there was a man with a knife in the Stonegrove store around 4.30pm yesterday (September 22). Paramedics arrived alongside officers and treated the teen for a minor cut on his knee. There have been no arrests, but authorities are asking the public for more information.

A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman stated, “Officers responded to reports of a man with a knife at a fast food restaurant in Stonegrove, Barnet, at 16:38hrs on Monday, September 22.”

A 15-year-old boy was treated for a minor cut at the site by the London Ambulance Service. “No arrests have been made at this time.

If you have any information on the incident, please call the Met at 101 and quote 5155/22SEP.” A London Ambulance Service representative stated: “We were called at 4.42pm yesterday (September 22) to reports of a stabbing in Stonegrove, Edgware.

“We deployed an ambulance crew, paramedics in quick response vehicles, and a member of our tactical response unit to the location.

“We treated a patient at the scene and took him to hospital.”
