Ipswich Town: Stevy Brouwers loan finishes at Brantham Athletic

The 17-year-old right-back has been a consistent member of the struggling Suffolk non-league team since joining the Blue Imps at the end of October.

Brouwers played six games for the team led by Craig Clarke and Michael Brothers, who are now at the bottom of the Isthmian League North Division standings. Having played for Town since the U13s and becoming a full academy player last summer, he has now returned to Playford Road following his first taste of senior football.

The Belgium-born second year scholar linked back up with David Wright and Matt Pooley’s squad, who were beaten 2-1 at home by Brighton & Hove Albion over the weekend. Lenny O’Sullivan scored for the young Blues, who remain bottom of the U18 Premier League South. Town included 17-year-old right-winger Tyler Martin in their XI. He has been with Liverpool since the U14s.
