Nepal’s major parties say dissolved parliament must be reinstated.
Nepal’s major political parties have asked that the president reinstate the parliament, which he disbanded following violent anti-corruption rallies.
Eight parties, including the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, and Maoist Centre, issued a declaration alleging that President Ram Chandra Poudel violated the constitution.

Angry protesters set fire to parliament and government buildings in Kathmandu on Tuesday, compelling then-Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to step down.
