
VfL Wolfsburg has officially announced the signing of Denmark international Jesper Lindstrom on a season-long loan from Napoli, following his Premier League loan with Everton in 2024-25.
Lindstrom joins Wolfsburg on an initial loan until the end of the 2025-26 season for a reported €1 million, with an option to buy for €12 million.
The 25-year-old will wear the number 19 shirt in his debut season back in the Bundesliga..

“Jesper has experience playing in the Bundesliga and on the international stage,” stated Wolfsburg sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz.
“We’re bringing in a dynamic and versatile midfielder who can play in practically any midfield position. We’re excited that he’s already a member of our group and will be working with the team at the training camp.”
Lindstrom’s signing to Wolfsburg marks his return to the Bundesliga after two seasons away, having left Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2023 to join Napoli for €25 million.

He was then permitted to leave Napoli after one season to join Premier League club Everton on loan, where he made 25 top-flight games before being sidelined due to calf surgery.
