Three persons were rushed to the hospital after a head-on collision between a vehicle and a police car.

On Thursday at 18:40 BST, emergency services attended to an incident on Pevensey Bay Road in Eastbourne.

According to a Sussex Police spokesperson, the driver of the Suzuki Waggon R and two officers in the police car were brought to the hospital with injuries.

“The driver remains in hospital undergoing medical treatment while the officers have since been discharged,” they told reporters.
