Police incident closes The Bear and Bells pub in Beccles.
A “police incident” prompted a pub in a market town to close early today.
It happened on Saturday afternoon at the Bear and Bells bar in Old Market, Beccles.
The nature of the event is currently unknown, but in a social media post, a spokeswoman stated that the pub “will be closed for the rest of tonight” as a result of it.

“But we need the evening to deal with follow-up actions and make sure everything is in order before we reopen.”
