Sivert Mannsverk, a former loanee of Cardiff City, may be ready to join Wrexham this summer from Ajax, a Dutch powerhouse.
Ryan Hardie, Danny Ward, Liberato Cacace, and George Thomason have all visited the Racecourse so far this summer.
Ahead of the team’s return to the championship after more than 40 years, they have made four good additions, but supporters are aware that much more is required if Wrexham is to contend next season.
Wrexham supporters want more new players for the team during the preseason trip and following their loss to Sydney FC.
In response, Phil Parkinson signed Cacace and Thomason, and it now appears that Wrexham will also add Josh Windass.
Following rumors that the 31-year-old was having a medical with the Welsh team, Windass is reportedly set to sign a three-year contract with Wrexham.
Ajax and former Cardiff City loanee Sivert Mannsverk are among the other names being connected to a transfer to Wrexham this summer.
Sivert Mannsverk, a transfer target for Wrexham, is expected to depart Ajax.
Mannsverk was linked to a move to Wrexham last week. He made 13 appearances in the Championship during the second half of the previous season while on loan at Cardiff City, a Welsh rival, but was unable to keep the Bluebirds from being relegated to League One.
Cardiff City supporters, however, had good things to say about Mannsverk. They praised his midfield skill and implied that he was the right player for the team at the wrong moment. According to recent reports from the Netherlands, Mannsverk no longer has a future at Ajax.
According to the Dutch publication Voetbal Primeur, Mannsverk has been the subject of substantial interest from clubs in Germany and the UK for a while. Given that Mannsverk has no future at Ajax, it appears like he will be leaving Wrexham this summer, possibly on a permanent contract.
