UK Health Agency issues cold weather alert for Norfolk.
Norfolk has issued a cold health notice due to the drop in temperatures. The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued a yellow alert.
It implies that a predicted period of cold weather could have a substantial impact on health and social care services.
There could be an increase in demand for health services and mortality, particularly among the elderly and people with medical issues.

The alert was activated at 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 28, and will stay in effect until midday on January 5.
According to the Met Office, the temperature in Norfolk will range from 3C to 6C for the majority of the week, with nightly lows of 1C.
Aside from the occasional shower, the weather will be largely dry, and the coast will be very windy on Wednesday.
From January 2 to 11, “wintry showers”—including snow—will begin to migrate south of Scotland.
