Another section of the former street, which housed a garment wholesaler and a garage, has been destroyed to make space for apartments.
For many, it was a familiar route to the Parkway and the M1 prior to major alterations to the Ring Road.
The old shops and landmarks that had been there for years have been replaced, and we have included a photo of how the road looks now as a comparison, using images from our archives and Picture Sheffield.
