As the Championship season nears its end, Millwall’s aim of reaching the Premier League appears to be a serious possibility.

Alex Neil’s team are now two points behind Middlesbrough, who hold the second automatic slot, but with a trip to Teesside coming up, the Lions know a win will propel them into the top two.

So, the stakes are high for Millwall, but there will be confidence that they can complete the task, despite Neil working with far fewer resources than many of their promotion competitors.

Millwall’s excellent recruitment has served them well in recent years
