Alex Mowatt is West Brom’s “got to be” target and is ecstatic about the “confidence man’s” comeback.

Alex Mowatt, a midfielder, emphasized Albion’s aspirations for promotion this season and thinks Ryan Mason is creating something amazing.

The team has been greatly impacted by Mason, Albion’s new head coach in his first permanent senior leadership position. The 30-year-old veteran Mowatt has praised the former Spurs coach’s leadership and is thought to have been well greeted by the team as a whole.

As they get ready to launch another top-six campaign and end a string of five straight Championship seasons, Mowatt thinks something good is cooking at The Hawthorns and that players share the optimism of the supporters. Mowatt responded, “Yeah, I think so; it has to be,” when asked if he intended to be promoted.

“West Brom is a huge team. We need to start the season strong if we want to be at the top of the standings. Although we didn’t make it last season, we want to next season.

“That’s what it feels like for us – a young, energetic manager with a specific way he wants to play,” the midfielder continued, echoing Mason’s confidence.

“This is thrilling. For us, this is a great moment. The supporters need to be just as happy as they are, in my opinion. Additionally, Mowatt said that he and the team are “buzzing” now that winger Mikey Johnston has rejoined Mason’s team following the collapse of an incredible deal with Brazil’s Flamengo.

Due to a negative reaction from the fans, the buying club withdrew their offer of £5 million for Johnston to relocate to Rio de Janeiro. “First and foremost, I’m very happy that Mikey is back,” Mowatt added. He’s one of my best teammates and a fantastic player. Thus, I’m happy he’s back.

However, I think he will always give it his all as long as he plays for West Brom.

He will always thrill admirers, in my opinion. Therefore, we’re happy he’s here and hope he stays. “I also constantly remind him of that!” When Johnston’s three goals from the previous season were disclosed, the midfielder chuckled. “I believe Mikey is a high-confidence player.

He exuded confidence when he originally arrived on loan. Each shot was successful. For him, it went really well. I’m hoping he can find his form, start the season strong, and build confidence.
