Two men attacked ‘at top of Dundee stairwell’ as one rushed to hospital.

A 63-year-old and a 70-year-old man were assaulted on King Street in Dundee. On Saturday, September 6, at approximately 1.10 a.m., a 63-year-old and a 70-year-old male were attacked on King Street in the city.

The event occurred at the top of a stairwell leading to Cowgate, and one of the guys was quickly transported to Ninewells Hospital for treatment.

The suspect is described as being roughly 45 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, of average build, with short brown and grey hair, and wearing a grey long-sleeved blouse.

He is thought to have taken off in the direction of East Marketgait, fleeing into the tunnel towards the Ladywell roundabout.

Detective Sergeant Ryan Thompson stated, “I am appealing to anyone who may have been in and around King Street, Dundee at the time to come forward.”
