Three more males have been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the shooting of a 32-year-old man in Sheffield.
Kassim Mohammed was killed in an incident on Watery Street in Upperthorpe shortly after 22:00 BST on September 30.
Merseyside Police detained two men, ages 27 and 31, on Friday morning, and South Yorkshire Police arrested a 35-year-old man on Thursday. They are still in custody.
Six people have been arrested in connection with the case. A 31-year-old woman and two men, ages 22 and 20, who were previously arrested on suspicion of murder have been freed on bail pending further investigation, according to South Yorkshire Police.
Detective Chief Inspector Andy Knowles said, “We are still looking for anyone with relevant dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage, and we would encourage anyone who has not yet contacted us to do so.” Mr Mohammed’s family remarked that his death will “leave a void in our hearts that will never be filled”.
“Kassim was a devoted young father, a loving son, and a kind, family-orientated man, whose caring nature touched everyone around him,” stated the journalists.
