According to a spokesman for the and Rescue Service, “We received reports of a fire inside a recycling business on Wright Avenue, Dundee, at 5:44 p.m. on Thursday, September 4.
Three appliances were sent to the scene by Operations Control, and firemen continued to fight the fire all night long.
Crews are still working to put out a deep-seated fire, and two appliances are present at the moment.
“Dundee, Newport, and Tayport residents are advised to keep windows and doors closed at this time due to the high levels of smoke in the area.”
