A 34-year-old man has been accused with causing a “disturbance” with a knife at a Dundee park.

On Sunday afternoon, police were called to Caird Park after receiving a report of the incident.

According to local sources, an ambulance was called to the area. It has not been established whether anyone was injured.

Man to appear in court over Dundee Caird Park ‘knife incident’

A representative for Police Scotland stated: “Around 3.45pm on Sunday, police received a report of a disturbance at Caird Park West in Dundee.

“A 34-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is expected to appear at court at a later date.”
