Woman, 55, dies following crash on Ford Road near Arundel.

A 55-year-old lady died in an accident.

Ford Road, adjacent to Nelson Row in Ford near Arundel, was closed yesterday (May 23) due to the incident.

A automobile and two motorcyclists were involved in the crash.

“Unfortunately, the rider of one of the motorcycles, a 55-year-old woman from Bognor Regis, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this time.

The rider of a second motorcycle, a 57-year-old man from Bognor, also sustained injuries,” a Sussex Police spokesperson stated.

The driver of the white Mini, a 60-year-old male from Angmering, was not wounded in the incident. Officers are investigating the circumstances.

“Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact Sussex Police.”
