Matt Dufty and star forward miss out as Warrington Wolves v Catalans Dragons team news confirmed.
Sam Burgess has made a decision on Matt Dufty after dropping him last week, with team news for Warrington Wolves’ match against Catalans Dragons confirmed.
The Australian full-back did not play against Wigan Warriors last Friday, with head coach Burgess confirming that Dufty was dropped due to an internal discipline issue.
Burgess told Sky Sports ahead of the game: “It’s an internal discipline thing. Matt missed a session earlier in the week, which has happened to other players this year, so we sit him down and he will miss a game.
Burgess did joke that the full-back had been “behaving himself” and would be back for the game against Catalans Dragons, where he was named to the 21-man squad.
Sam Burgess made two changes to his 21-man squad, bringing back Connor Wrench and Adam Holroyd while dropping young full-back Cai Taylor-Wray, raising the possibility that Dufty would return, but this is not the case.
