A woman is in critical condition in hospital following a three-car incident on a major Aberdeen thoroughfare on Thursday.
At 1.05pm, emergency services, including police and paramedics, responded to a collision on South Anderson Drive near Newlands Crescent.
The 67-year-old female driver of a Volkswagen T-Roc was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where her condition is severe.
No one in the other vehicles, a Vauxhall Astra and an Audi A3, required medical attention as a result of the incident.
Police have issued an appeal for information, urging any witnesses or those with dashcam evidence to contact them.
Sergeant Peter Henderson informed the media: “Our enquiries are continuing and I would urge any witnesses to the crash, or anyone in the area at the time with information or dashcam footage which could be relevant to please contact us.”
