Burger King in Sweet Briar Road Norwich acquired for £1.2m.
A Burger King restaurant in Norwich has sold for £1.2 million.
RO Group has bought the freehold Burger King drive-through on Sweet Briar Road, which is leased to BKUK Flame Ltd, a major UK franchisee of the fast food chain.
The 1,800-square-foot restaurant is leased for a 15-year term beginning in May 2021, with a current annual rate of £65,000.

RO Real Estate’s investment director, Nick Cashmore, stated, “We are very pleased to have added this Burger King drive-through investment to our portfolio.”
The property is located in a prominent trading location with 32,000 vehicles passing daily and is leased under an exceptional covenant that provides substantial reversionary potential in 2026 given the low historic passing rent.
“As we seek to grow our roadside portfolio this is exactly the type of drive thru asset that we will continue to target in addition to acquiring sites to develop out ourselves.”
RO is a family-owned group of firms founded in 1932 that invests in commercial real estate, homebuilding, and venture financing.
