Three men arrested after man stabbed in city street.

Following the stabbing of a man in Leicester, three males were arrested.

Leicestershire Police said they were contacted after receiving a report of a man being beaten by a gang of males near the junction with Pindar Road at 15:33 GMT on Wednesday.

According to authorities, the victim was rushed to the hospital with “stab and slash” wounds that are not considered life-threatening or life-changing.

Three guys, ages 26, 24, and 18, were arrested on suspicion of injuring with intent and are currently in police custody, according to the force.

A cordon was in place between the junctions of Pindar route and Kay Road, but it has already been withdrawn and the route reopened.

The force stated that extra patrols were undertaken overnight, and officers were available to answer any community concerns. Det. Sgt. Matt Swift continued:

“Our investigation is very much ongoing and despite these arrests, we would still like to speak to anyone who may have any information at all which may be linked to this incident.”

Smith asked anyone with CCTV or mobile phone footage to call the police.
